Pasco County, FL — A three vehicle crash on State Road 52 left three people severely injured and one person dead.

A 63-year-old woman was traveling east on the highway and she attempted to turn left at the light at Hicks Road.

Although she had a flashing yellow arrow, she began to turn left into the path of an oncoming sedan. The sedan, driven by a 93-year-old man, crashed into the right side of the turning vehicle.

Due to the collision’s impact, the 63-year-old woman’s vehicle spun into the right-most westbound lane of the highway. The vehicle hit the rear side of an SUV, driven by a 33-year-old woman.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred at 10:30 am, and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to it. Both the 63-year-old driver and 93-year old driver sustained serious injuries in the collision. They received treatment at local hospitals.

Additionally, a female passenger in the 63-year-old woman’s car also required treatment for injuries sustained in the accident. An 88-year-old woman who rode in the 93-year-old man’s sedan died to her injuries at the hospital. In such cases, it is crucial to consult with a Hudson truck accident lawyer to navigate through legal complexities and ensure proper representation.

The 33-year-old woman and her passenger were not injured in the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
